FAQ

I try my best to finalize the artwork in a prompt manner; however, all art pieces are hand-drawn by me so I kindly ask to be patient. The artwork will not take longer than a week unless the customer takes too long to approve the sketch and final work.

Original Digital Portraits and Graphic Artwork

I try to provide a sketch within 24 hours. Once the sketch has been approved, my goal is to provide a finalized painting within 5 days. It is important for the customer to be responsive and provide fast feedback for the attached documents to expedite the process.

Fictional, Historical Portraits, and Photoshop work.

The fictional and historical portraits should be done within 3 days.

You need to create a Loyal Pawtraits user account to review the process of the artwork and approve your final art piece.

Through this process, I will be working closely with the customer to make sure his/her expectations are met while delivering a quality product. Creating a Loyal Pawtraits account streamlines the process giving you a dedicated space to submit feedback and view the work in progress.

The order information that gets submitted in your account page is available for you to view even after the work is done so you can always come back to your account page and download the images.

If you would like a portrait of your pet in a scene or environment that's not available in the Art Store, feel free to email me the details of what you have in mind. I will reach back out with more information and create a listing that satisfies your needs. Once that is done you can place an order and follow the standard ordering process.

My custom pet portraits are hand-drawn by me with a stylus and tablet. Every detail is drawn with meticulous attention to accurately capture your pet using the art medium of your choosing. I use the same process and techniques digitally that I would use with a real canvas and paintbrush with an added advantage of not making a mess in my house and having a reproducible original copy.

As with any custom product, I do not offer a return policy. However, I never mark an order as finished or send anything to print without your approval. Generally, no more than 2 edits are needed and additional photographs might be required. If for any reason after the two edits you are still not satisfied and you are not able to provide any additional photographs then I will mark your order as pending until you are able to submit more reference images.

-DO handle the paper by the edges or underside to avoid damaging the coated surface.
-DON’T touch the coated surface (printable side), as oils from the skin could be absorbed in the coating, which would have an adverse effect on the print quality.

-DO store prints in a clean, dry environment free of harmful environmental or airborne contaminants. As with any artwork, it is important to be aware of your environment. High humidity, airborne dust, solvents, adhesives, smoke (including tobacco), and other similar contaminants can permanently damage your print.
-DO use bags, tapes, dry mounting film and sleeves free of polyethylene and plasticizer.
-DON’T expose prints to direct sunlight, heat or strong sources of UV for long periods of time. As with all art mediums, the colorant and brightening agents in ink jet prints are sensitive to UV exposure. Most museums and archives store prints in dark storage when not in use and carefully monitor light sources of prints on display.
